CHAINMAIL AT PACO RABANNE...

I'm normally not into super sexy clothes - I'd pick an oversized cashmere jumper over a skimpy dress any day.

With that in mind, I totally did not expect to be won over by the Paco Rabanne show. I had the chance to see the show when I was in Paris last week and, suprisingly, it totally blew me away. The chainmail detailing is used in such a clever way. I just wanted to stroke every piece that came down the catwalk - the textures are so alluring. I loved the long sleeved straight dress that was worn by Ruby Aldridge and all the footwear.

TOPSHOP UNIQUE SS13...

After the awesomeness of last season's Topshop Unique show, I was unsure whether the new collection would be able to hold up to the hype. Thankfully the spring/summer collection was just as good. It felt like a true continuation of what was established the season before. Silhouettes remained slouchy and the vibe was very relaxed . The show was stuffed full of covetable pieces. The straight skirts paired with oversized gilets were my favourite. I also loved the white shirt dress and the wide legged silver trousers. The collection felt grown up and super relaxed - exactly the sort of aesthetic that gets my heart pumping.

LOUISE GRAY SS13...

Louise Gray was so good. I'm totally feeling the layered up geometric prints. The colours are so bold and look really fresh. The mirrored earrings, psychedelic sunglasses and bouffant hairstyles are the icing on the cake.

Massive thank you to the team at eBay fashion for the ticket. xx

FLORAL DRESSES AND BIKER JACKETS...

Probably the most basic outfit combination ever but I like it for its simplicity. This is what I wore on the first day of London Fashion Week.

Wearing: Paul and Joe Sister dress, Acne jacket, American Apparel clutch and Converse.

p.s. the winner of the third giveaway had been chosen - congratulations to Lola!

FYODOR GOLAN SS13...

It's day 1 of London Fashion Week. Hurrah! I can't believe this time of year has crept around again already. First thing this morning I headed over to the Waldorf hotel to shoot backstage at Fyodor Golan. Last season it was one of my favourite shows so I was super excited to see what the design duo had planned. The styling and makeup was incredible. Each model had a tribal looking tattoo on her chin and many walked with larger-than-life transparent hats. It definitely gave the impression that some sort of glamorous alien race had invaded central London.

For more photos, including pictures from the show, hop over to Facebook.

Massive thank you to Susie and Rob at TRACE Publicity for having me backstage and at the show.

SANDALS ROYAL PLANTATION...

I've just returned home from a week spent in Jamaica at Sandals Royal Plantation. Looking back it feels like a dream. Was I really just in the Caribbean for a week? Everything was so perfect and idyllic that it doesn't seem real.

I spent each day lying on the beach drinking piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris. In the afternoon, when I'd worked up a bit of energy, we'd go sailing or snorkeling. I've never been on a resort style holiday before this trip or had an all inclusive experience. Being able to eat and drink as much as I wanted meant I did exactly that... I'm definitely packing a slightly squishier middle section now. It was totally worth it though - the food was delicious. The real highlight of the trip has to be the fact that we had our very own butler for the week. When we arrived we were given a cell phone that we could reach him on. Now that I'm back home I'm totally craving that phone. Nothing equates to luxury quite like white sand beaches and your very own butler. Sandals, I miss you already.

Wearing: Varley belmont bikini, River Island leopard print shorts, Zoe Karssen T-shirt, and 3.1 Phillip Lim dress.

Massive thank you to Sarah at Sandals for organizing the trip.

FRESH FRUIT ON MY SHIRT...

I'm here in Jamaica and it is so beautiful.

I'm waking up at the crack of dawn to a view of the sun rising over a big expanse of ocean. We're staying at Sandals Royal Plantation resort. This is the first time I've gone on a resort style vacation and so far it has totally blown my expectations. Yesterday I accidentally broke a pair of the sandals I brought with me. I was trying to sew the leather back together and I left the shoes sitting on the desk in the room. When I came back in the evening they had been mended. I didn't even ask, they just found them and fixed them. Seriously, that is crazy amazing service.

Wearing: Equipment shirt from My Wardrobe, MiH jean shorts and Topshop sandals.

LIBERTY X NIKE LOVE...

Maybe it's got something to do with the aftermath of the Olympics but I'm big time in love with anything sportswear inspired at the moment. These Nike x Liberty sneakers that I spotted on Shini are so stinking adorable. I love how they mix practicality with a very girly floral print. Yummy.

IT GOES KA-POW...

Close up Phillip Lim t-shirt

I've been completely obsessed with the latest 3.1 Phillip Lim collection since January. I love the superhero theme. In fact, I love it so much that I've even based the design for my bathroom on it (I'm still looking for a company that specializes in custom made shower curtains...). I'm totally hooked on this t-shirt from the range. It's super slouchy and soft with a massive 'Ka-pow' on the front. Swoon. I love a good graphic tee. This is what I wore to the blogger yard sale a couple of weeks back when I was in London - perfect for a hot day in the city.

Wearing: 3.1 Phillip Lim t-shirt from My Wardrobe, River Island camouflage jacket, Adidas shorts and Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses.

SUNDAYS WERE MADE FOR FLOWER MARKETS...

I love being in London on a Sunday.

Whenever I am I make sure to hop over to Columbia Road for the flower market. It has the absolute best atmosphere and the most insanely priced flowers I've ever seen. If I lived in London I'd be filling my flat with them every week. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend. xx

Wearing: American Apparel tri-blend tank top, Whistles skirt, Converse and Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses.

HOT PINK LIGHTING BOLTS...

Janiver?! I said Je-nni-fer. Not Janiver.

You know what I always say, 'you can never go wrong with a pair of massive lightning bolt earrings.' I think the guy at Starbucks was distracted by my big bright earrings. Surely, that's he only way he can justify thinking that my name was Janiver. What sort of name is that anyway? As you might know, I tend to dress pretty simple so I like being able to add a bit of pizazz (yes, pizazz) with bold accessories. I love these earrings because they are so grotesquely tacky. Sometimes tacky is good. Remember that chickens.

Wearing: Asos earrings, Calvin Klein jeans, Topshop top, Banana Republic bag, Madewell shoes and Coffee frappucino.

IT'S KATASTROPHIC...

My roommate in high school is now a fashion designer living in the US. She makes the most adorable organic underwear that you can customize yourself - you get to choose the colors and all the trimmings. I picked out these two pairs and I absolutely love them. They're perfectly girly and cute plus seriously soft.  Check out Melissa's entire collection on Etsy here.

SITTING ON A DOCK BY THE BAY...

This is just a quick hello from Sweden...

This past week I've been hanging out on a boat and swimming in a lake. I feel pretty un-fashion and I love it. I'm currently glued to this vintage Laura Ashley dress that I stole from my mom. It originally reached down to my ankles - I had a big chunk of fabric cut off to make it a bit more wearable. I also finally found two new swimsuits. Both are strapless, one is from Seafolly and is black and the other is cream with gold hardware and from Varley. I'd been looking for simple swimsuits for aaages and I'm so glad I finally found two to add to my collection.

Wearing Laura Ashley dress and Emm Kuo clutch.
