SANDALS ROYAL PLANTATION...

I've just returned home from a week spent in Jamaica at Sandals Royal Plantation. Looking back it feels like a dream. Was I really just in the Caribbean for a week? Everything was so perfect and idyllic that it doesn't seem real.

I spent each day lying on the beach drinking piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris. In the afternoon, when I'd worked up a bit of energy, we'd go sailing or snorkeling. I've never been on a resort style holiday before this trip or had an all inclusive experience. Being able to eat and drink as much as I wanted meant I did exactly that... I'm definitely packing a slightly squishier middle section now. It was totally worth it though - the food was delicious. The real highlight of the trip has to be the fact that we had our very own butler for the week. When we arrived we were given a cell phone that we could reach him on. Now that I'm back home I'm totally craving that phone. Nothing equates to luxury quite like white sand beaches and your very own butler. Sandals, I miss you already.

Wearing: Varley belmont bikini, River Island leopard print shorts, Zoe Karssen T-shirt, and 3.1 Phillip Lim dress.

Massive thank you to Sarah at Sandals for organizing the trip.

IT GOES KA-POW...

Close up Phillip Lim t-shirt

I've been completely obsessed with the latest 3.1 Phillip Lim collection since January. I love the superhero theme. In fact, I love it so much that I've even based the design for my bathroom on it (I'm still looking for a company that specializes in custom made shower curtains...). I'm totally hooked on this t-shirt from the range. It's super slouchy and soft with a massive 'Ka-pow' on the front. Swoon. I love a good graphic tee. This is what I wore to the blogger yard sale a couple of weeks back when I was in London - perfect for a hot day in the city.

Wearing: 3.1 Phillip Lim t-shirt from My Wardrobe, River Island camouflage jacket, Adidas shorts and Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses.

Leather jackets & Chanel

I absolutely love this outfit for it's no-fuss still-chic quality. If it were up to me this jacket would never ever leave my body. It is buttery soft, perfectly draped and instantly makes any outfit at least 100 x better.

Oh me, oh my... it was the first day of fashion week... what to wear, what to wear?

I opted for some pastel colors (pink jeans and a jumper in a slew of bubblegum shades) but then went and ruined it by throwing a lot of black leather over the top. Oops. This lipstick I'm wearing has a tendency to lend people to jokes about whether I'm freezing or not. Hello, it's called Cyber and it's by Mac... my lips are not turning purple due to the fa-reezing temperature. Anyway, I absolutely love this outfit for it's no-fuss still-chic quality. If it were up to me this jacket would never ever leave my body. It is buttery soft, perfectly draped and instantly makes any outfit at least 100 x better. Hope you won't be sad if I wear 6 variations of this exact same look over the coming days... I have to admit, I'm a little hooked.

Wearing: Theory jacket, Theyskens' Theory knit, 2nd Day jeans, vintage Chanel bag via Wish Want Wear, MOXHAM small pink leather clutch, MYKITA sunglasses, Balenciaga boots and Topshop ring.

The print invasion

[nggallery id=71]

I've never been into wearing patterns. In fact, I don't own a single printed item. I just ran to my closet to double check and it's true - not a single thing. For some reason prints have always felt a bit dated and tacky rather than something to covet. This all changed recently though.

It might have been that print from Celine ss11 or those knitted jacquard trousers that Susie rocked so well. Whatever it was, the tectonic plates have shifted and suddenly prints are sitting at the very forefront of my mind. I want them. I want to be doused in prints from head-to-toe and the more obnoxiously painful it is to look at the better.

Okay, dramatic antics aside. When I went to My Wardrobe's ss12 press day last week my obsession was solidified. Patterns were everywhere and especially noticeable on the trousers. From Current Elliot's spotted jeans to By Malene Birger's green silk trousers - almost every brand had snuck a pair into their collection. When I met the womenswear buyer Georgina Coulter we started talking about the selection on show. 'I love it!' I cooed, 'The prints are amazing.' 'I know,' she replied, 'have you seen the Elizabeth & James printed suit?' Embarrassingly I was holding it behind me about to take a photo, it was one of my favourite looks. Although, I'll still always be a sucker for the basics... I would gladly live in J Brand's grey sweatshirt and black leather trousers.

LFW Outfit: Day 1

Hi there. It's the end of Day 2 of LFW... I meant to post these photos earlier but I've been experiencing some slight technical difficulties with this here little blog. Yikes. Bad timing, hey? Anyway. So, this is what I wore yesterday. Never ever want to take off this leather vest. I feel like it goes with everything. Seriously embracing colour at the moment and I like it. Just wait til you see the skirt I wore today - yiikes - it was Bright (so bright it got a capital b). For now though, enjoy this little bright red and yellow, denim-leather combination.

Iro waistcoat and Moschino Cheap & Chic trousers (My Wardrobe), Maison Scotch shirt, Robinson Pelham jupiter bracelets (via Golden Goose PR), Celine bag, Zara shoes, and Super sunglasses. Photos by Shini.

Check it

A checked printed shirt never felt quite as fresh as when it's made by TBA and has a little triangular hole cut out right in the middle of your tummy. I wore this outfit on the morning of our last day at Fashion Week Poland. We attended the On/Off shows at the most incredible location - a totally surreal and creepy abandoned building. I made the mistake of assuming the floors were clean and, after kneeling down in the middle of a show, found myself completely covered in grey dust. The collections being shown were as raw as the building itself... but I'll save a bit of that for tomorrow.

Wearing: TBA checked top AW11 and Paul & Joe wedges (both HPR London), Nudie Jeans long john skinny (My Wardrobe), and Ralph Lauren zebra havana glasses. Photos by Shini.
