'i had shorts like that when i was a kid...'

Punting is a mandatory summer pastime in Oxford. It's pretty much the most glorious way to spend an afternoon: water, boats, gin & tonics, strawberries, pub stops, angry swans... what more could you ask for from England in August? I received these shorts courtesy of very.co.uk. I'm not going to lie, I had never been to their site and to be honest I found it a bit confusing to navigate. They stock so many brands and various items from toys, to furniture and just about everything in between - including clothing. I picked out these shorts based on their tribal-y print and funky colour combination - reminiscent of an old school early 90s look. What can I say? I'm a sucker for nostalgia. All this was reaffirmed by a male friend who said, 'hey, i like your shorts. i used to have some like that.' I'd call that a success. Wearing: Love Label shorts, Monki t-shirt, Converse and Rayban aviators.
