Zara sandals…

Normally I have my reservations about Zara – what with their questionable customer service, poor quality, and notorious inability to create anything remotely unique. But, with all that put to one side, I’ve got to admit – sometimes I find little gems in their shops that I can’t help but love. These sandals are one such example. They are the pair I wore to the wedding in Oxford and I really love them because of the simple minimal design. Plus, they are pretty darn comfy and have a mirrored toe – sweet. Making it impossibly better, they are currently in the sale for just under £20.

  • Wow they are pretty nice for Zara! Could pass for Margiela… I agree though, Zara has become one of the worst shops in the highstreet, which is a shame because it did actually start out so well. The quality of a lot of their clothes is just unforgivable.

  • ooo they’re a bit lovely. really enjoying the mirrored toe.

  • I agree with what you’re saying, Zara can be poor quality sometimes but you find gems, that’s why I dont go often I would be broke by now!

  • Yeah, it’s true, Zara is not amazing quality, but then again, the prices are pretty low so if the quality were much better I’d actually be surprised. I kind of think Zara is the perfect balance of get-what-you-pay-for, and I often buy things there, but of course I know those are not the pieces that are going to last a lifetime. Still, I’m a fan. And those sandals are a great example of why!

  • I totally agree with you there, I hardly ever visit Zara these days… I really don’t dig the materials and quality used in their products. Super-sweet sandals nonetheless!

I love zara. But the problem is that here in the US, they have a website, but you cannot buy from it, it only shows. And then when you go to the store, they don’t even have the same stuff that is on their website!!!
Anyways, you found some beautifull sandals there!

  • You got Zara summarised pretty well! WANTS on the sandals! xx

  • I absolutely loved the outfit you chose for the Oxford wedding so I can only love these sandals!

  • I mostly agree with what you said about Zara, and their lack of uniqueness a side, the quality concerns me more. Living on a very tight budget and in a country where Zara is considered a brand that not any can afford, and is probably a leading brand in mass fashion (along with Zara sister brands, Mango and H&M) i don`t really have much choice but to wear what I can afford, and live in constant fear when something will fall apart. It happened with Zara several times. A pair of trouzers came torn in first wash, and about the fiasco with triple colored devil shoes you can read on my blog. But as you said it… sometimes we find the THING in the right time, so unexpected. Today I am returnig those devil shoes and I hope they will alow me to exchange them for something else without any problem or worse:) fingers crossed!
