who is plus a pair and a spare.

The gorgeous creator of diy blog A Pair & a Spare was rocking a fiercely sexy combination of leather, red, and leopard at London Fashion Week. Not for the feint hearted, she manages to pull it off while looking just the right amount demure. I’m absolutely gobsmacked by the trousers and the way she’s styled them. Not normally a red sort of girl, but she’s got me seriously craving a pair. Another current lust of mine is the long pleated skirt which seems to be creeping into the fashion scene these days. Michelle, of Who is Bobb Paris, wears hers in an effortlessly cool way: paired with a white t-shirt and raybans. Quite contrasting looks but both have elements that I absolutely adore and want to work into my wardrobe immediately.

  • I can’t get over how great Geneve looked, so damn sexy!! Those shoes look so painful but she definitely rocked it like she was born with it. Did she tell you where it was from?
Thanks so much for putting up Michelle’s link too, I think I kept typing whoisbobparris without the double b and thought it must’ve been a misprint on the businesscard… ach why am I telling you this :P She looks so effortlessly chic. Actually she looked so cool everyday I saw her…

  • thanks for you last comment, I didnt realise what I wrote might sound not how I intended so went back to clarify. i actually meant to refer to myself as a blogger versus the industry proffesional critics, who dont seem to have the freedom they should to write honest reviews. each to their own but i would love someone to explain the prada and christopher kane collections to me lol! anyway thanks for that i wouldnt want anyone thiking i was bitching off about fellow bloggers, ive been enjoying yours and jills coverage of lfw so much xx

  • Ooooh i love the leopard top!
and was so nice to meet michelle yesterday!!!
let’s get together again soooon my love xxxxxxx

  • Okay this is weird: we didn’t talk about Geneva either and I’ve been meaning to do MY post on her all week. But I didn’t see her the day of these shots – with the red (and yes I’m not normally into red but I can really appreciate it on others when done right). My Geneva post will be in her black cream and camel/tan (also leather), coming soon ; )

Also when you mentioned the long knife pleated skirt… back in NY I had a very similar, midnight blue vintage skirt, it was so beautiful. I wore it all the time: it held its pleats, was some kind of material that didn’t wrinkle.. come to think of it I was wearing it in the crazy tribeca loft party the night I met Mr. Dot.. I was thinking last night what happened to that skirt? And I remembered: I stupidly got it dry cleaned and somehow they erased the pleats. It’s long gone now.

I’ve never met Michelle… she looks great. Will go check out her blog now. x

  • they both look so stunning! thanks for sharing their blogs

    xx

  • sorry for such a late reply! thank-you for commenting on my blog! yes, your wedges were so gorgeous, i wore my new black ones on the same day, but wore boots the next day, then brogues. my style seemed to get comfier and more thrown together over my three days at lfw, and funnily enough my last and most comfiest day was the day i got street style photographed the most! you got such great coverage of lfw, jen! i adore the snapshop layout, your blog is looking better than ever. xxx

  • Oh yes, loving both these looks! The trousers especially are beautiful and the length is fabulous…
