A LOOK INSIDE: VOGUE COLLECTIONS…
Holla chicas.
Whenever someone I know is coming back to Zurich from London I bestow upon them the monumental task of bringing me back bucket loads of magazines. English magazines are so overpriced here that I never buy them – so I relish the opportunity to get anyone I know to act as my donkey for them. This time my husband brought me back Vogue Collections. Have you seen it before? It’s incredible. It’s separated into the five categories: Paris, Milan, New York, London and accessories. Inside are just pages and pages full of looks from each fashion capital’s shows. There isn’t much text, just a little description of each show and there are also hardly any advertisements. Perfect for drooling over and an excellent alternative to browsing style.com. It comes in at a hefty 25quid but totally worth it if you want to have a tangible reminder of how drool-worthy all of last season’s shows were.

Woah you’re right, they are incred! Those furry Celine shoes make me smile everytime I see them, totally escapism fashion, fun! Btw, I had the exact same feeling when I saw that metal H&M scarf in HK, I was so shocked! I have the original tag to prove it, honest! It looks like it could be from the MMM collab but it’s not. Maybe Hong Kong’s H&M carries some weird pieces?
I subscribed to a few previous because each issue ended up costing me slightly over a quid. And then I realize how tempting everything looks so I’ve now cut back to one magazine. I live a mere 2 minute stroll from the library and they have tons of fashion magazines. I crave ones from the US though.

Ah yes that’s why I haven’t bought it before..£25 is a bit too overbudget for me. I’d spend that on make up instead! I used to buy Elle collections but I’m impressed that Vogue has all the accessories too, total winner!

I do like Vogue Collections, or Elle Collections, but my favourite of all is L’Officiel Collections, which I would have thought is cheaper in Switzerland. I think it shows more collections, to a fuller extent, and is better organised. Which reminds me, it’s time to rid my mind of AW13 and get back to planning my SS13 shopping list…

I used to buy this all the time until I cut back on magazine spending, so now I get the Elle one instead, I don’t think it’s as good though. You’ve just reminded me as well how much I love/want/need those Givenchy heels… *sigh*…
I think I’ve had the good fortune of getting this magazine once before – for me, it is always about the acessories, or well, the shoes. Lucky girl!
the celine bags are impeccable. i hardly ever buy mags here now – most of them i digitally subscribe to which works out to be cheaper because international shipping fees for subscriptions usually kill me!
