the vintage princess?
Jackie is the sort of girl that never fails to look immaculately turned out. With the exception of one unmentionable tube ride, her hair is always well styled and her outfits always top notch. She’s a ‘Westend’ sort of chick that mixes Topshop dresses with YSL shoes. What really sets her look apart though is her incorporation of vintage. On this particular occasion she was quite paired down, wearing a standard striped Breton top and Levi cut offs, but managed to look anything but ordinary by topping off her basics with a healthy dose of lux vintage pieces. I love Jackie and love her style. It’s true, she just always finds something really her own. I still can’t get over that she tweeted or emailed me about meeting near home, i didn’t get it, but spent the time queuing for the lift @ Gloucester Rd admiring this woman’s feet but not asking to shoot them, lost her in the crowd, AND IT WAS JACKIE all along!
Yeah I was wondering what shade nail varnish that was, too. And I LOVE her purple suede YSL shoes! I see Maya left a comment – if you see her post peaches & cream, she’s got amazing vintage shoes, too, also jewelled, also suede, more of a claret colour. That’s the kind of accents I’m really excited about this fall: jade, purple, all shades of blue. It’s gonna be a fun fall. I just wish it hadn’t arrived so damn soon.
