THE LITTLE DETAILS…
It doesn’t matter how many times I see them, I’m still OBSESSED with these little Prada crystal earrings. They’re totally kitsch but I love them for their garish charm. Hedvig wears hers with a big o’l dose of Acne (jacket, bag, shoes), Karl fingerless leather gloves and a Joseph jumper. If I had these earrings I’d pair them with a soft white T-shirt and oversized boyfriend jeans.
Oh yeah, come on… who wants to get me these earrings for my birthday?

Great post, would have liked to see a close up detail shot of the earring. Have you seen the Bill Cunningham (famous NYC street style photographer) film? Theres a lot of street style inspiration which you might like to check out, particularly when he’s going through the spreads he did for Details magazine (what inspired Gentlewoman/Love) in the 70s. And its possibly the most inspiring real life fashion film i’ve seen in a while. xx
p.s. hope you don’t feel like i’m constantly bombarding you with ‘design’ tips.
Hahah. Don’t feel at all like you’re bombarding me – I’m always happy to get tips.
I haven’t seen the Bill Cunningham film but I’ve heard loads about it and have been meaning to see it for months. He’s definitely super inspiring. I saw him lots during Paris Fashion Week – it was super humbling to watch the way he interacted with people. I want to get this jacket so that I can match him: http://pinterest.com/pin/213780313531769167/ xx
Bombard away! We can spam her from both angles!
I also want to see that movie… people keep talking about it but I never get around to it
Also, Jen, you would look amaze rocking those earrings. Yes during the day with a tee and jeans, but also at night with a slick of dark lipstick and a black outfit, hair pulled behind one ear?
I love how you’re arranging and editing your photos at the moment, it’s so inspiring. *So* inspiring, actually, that I’m about to start redesigning my blog layout…
Haha, i think it’s a must for anyone interested in fashion, particularly the way magazines treat photographers. Jen apparently he gets those blue jackets from those industrial work wear uniform shops. http://remodelista.com/posts/design-sleuth-bill-cunninghams-french-work-jacket
Do you fancy a DIY? http://honestlywtf.com/diy/diy-prada-rose-earrings/
x
Yes! Excellent point! I did see that post. I’m pretty rubbish at DIYs… I always lose the patience to follow through with all the steps and then it turns out looking totally wonky. xx
Yeah I feel the same, and it’ finding all the things to make them! x
That’s my main problem with DIY posts – they almost never tell you where to buy all the requisite pieces!!
Those pradas look really fancy
I can quite visualise the look you’re after with so much simplicity. I believe statement pieces will always make a highlight no matter how casual the outfit can be. not a fan of boyfriend jeans, but they are awesome for comfort and just practicality of it. I’ve got a couple at home and it’s quite often worn haha^^
love this look with that light pink blazer and black Acne silks. they look so cute!!
xx
I think they are really gorgeous. You are drawn to simple put-together outfits so this piece will make your outfits pop!
I’m not too keen on big earrings, my lobes can’t handle them! You should see the mahooosive earrings karlie Kloss is showing off in latest uk vogue with nose ring to match http://foxyaphrodite.tumblr.com/post/20822646104/suicideblonde-karlie-kloss-photographed-by
Yessss, I’ve seen that shot of Karlie. So. freaking. amazing. I am big time into face jewelry. Earrings that size would definitely kill my ears though! xx
Love the earrings. The contrast between the flower and the sparkles is fantastic. I think it makes them all the more wearable!
Im craving for this Prada earings (Prada Jewelry at all) for so long too and looking to find something similar. And i did! Not that big, but almoust the same. H&M has now a quite good “prada” jewelry collection at the moment! Unfortunately not able at my local store

I love visiting your site! Your writing always makes me giggle and your photos are gorgeous. I’ve been following Hedvig for a while now, whether on lookbook or stalking her adventures through street style blogs, and she never seems to disappoint!

These earrings are beautiful. I went about this model more closely via their e-shop! Too bad it can not be mine, for the price!
Anyway, I hope you and your prince charming will
Have a nice day, xx

What an incredible name. (Not just because it reminds me of Harry Potter). This lady is pretty epic though. Seriously digging her style. xx
