Instinctively I liked this girl’s look: sleek streamlined black in a sea of otherwise boisterous outfits. Spotted after seeing the Bryce Aime collection, where geisha inspired platforms adorned each model’s feet, I mentioned to her that Asian influences seemed to be making a comeback. Totally ahead of the trend, she said she had picked up her shoes just around the corner from Somerset House in Covent Garden. Not something I’d have thought I’d lean towards, but sleek Asian influences have been whirling around in my head ever since…
