Rolling in changes…
Autumn and I tend to bump heads. It always comes a bit too early and unpleasantly fast. Snatching away the last bits of warmth, it strips the trees of their leaves and slowly sucks away my tan. But, I suppose it’s not so bad. When it’s cold meals tend to get longer, drinks warmer, and bellies a little pudgier. I’ve already started spending my evenings on the couch with hot chocolate and Christmas movies… hah, I know I’m a bit early but what the heck – it’s hard to resist.
When I was last in London I spent an afternoon with Charlie and Lexxie at the Albion. It’s one of my favourite places to go whenever I’m in town. Despite there being a big selection of delicious sounding things on the menu I always always order the breakfast bap. It totally sums up English breakfast for me and you can’t get anything like it in Switzerland.
Outfit photos by Lexxie. Wearing: Charlie’s Burberry mac and hat. Topshop jumper, boots, and burgundy jeans. American Apparel bag.
p.s. I’ve been trying to make some changes to the blog (font/slider etc) if you have any thoughts (positive or negative) please let me know.

I love the Albion, their brunches are delicious and I love all the cakes and jams for sale. Yum! X
Ciao,
I love all of your posts and I can usually tell your post from all of the others I read long before I see your face. With all of that said, I am not a big fan of the blog heading…it seems a bit crude which takes away I think from the sophistication of your blog as a whole(not really a negative comment as much as a observation/aesthetic preference). I am sure you have a reason for using it… just sharing a thought. I look forward to reading your blog in the coming years.

Kai, I love your honest comment. Funny what you said – I’ve just been making plans to change my header. I made it when I first started this blog a couple of years ago and haven’t ever changed it. Thanks for taking the time to leave your thoughts. xx
Jenny! Nice work with the slider! Very cool.
I have to say I’m a big fan of Autumn, knowing Christmas is around the corner and all the coffee pick me ups. Although can’t say i’m a big fan of the inevitable pudgier bellies. I love the hat by the way and great choice of jean colour. The blog is looking good!
Slider where? wherewherewhere? (Or are you talking about the lightbox?)
Gaaaash you look good, Autumn baby, totally love that you covered the Albion as well – if they weren’t sort of out of the way I think I’d live there… That teapot is so cool it should have its own blog.
The slider is on the homepage… sorry, should have made that clear. Also, just for the record, that is a coffee pot not a teapot. Get it straight Park. xx
I know I’m supposed to be looking at all the autumnal beauty and delicious food, but literally all I can see is that stunning armor ring and your awesome half-moon mani in that coffee-pouring photo. That ring! Where did you get it? And please tell me you didn’t do those nails yourself, I might just fall over with envy.
PS- how did I not have the style.com app yet? And have you saved me or ruined me by opening my eyes to it? Only time will tell… Seriously though, thanks!

Hahah! So glad you got it and like it! I’m seriously obsessed with it – especially when the shows are going on, it’s so easy to stay up to day with everything new.
Ok, so the ring is from Topshop. I got it a while ago and I think it was like 6quid… just checked the website and I don’t think they have them anymore. Bummer, sorry. Also, don’t worry, I’m not nearly talented enough to do the half-moon nail myself. I got it done at Wah Nails (also in Topshop… errr, I’m like an ad right now). xx
Topshop sometimes has the best rings! I just got an amazing double knuckle one there recently that’s not up on the website, but you really have to have patience to troll through the million bits of gaudy jewelry! I think I’m headed to London again in december for a week, maybe I’ll head over and get myself one of those manis, it just looks so good! Mine never last though, so I always feel like it’s not worth it when it starts chipping a day later…

sausage, bacon and egg is a major combo, brown sauce for me too. like anything it takes times to get used to it, first reaction was that it’s quite dominating but i do like the idea of it
The breakfast at Albion looks cooler than The Breakfast Club (hides face), I wanna try having breakie there one day.
Love the shot no9, would have looked so cool if leaves were flying around you, next time get Charlie/Lexxie to blow the leaves hahahaha.
I believe the meat they serve in The Albion comes from the Ginger Pig the best butcher in London and def worth spending a bit more on the meat there when you’re an animal lover and care about the way your food is produced!!
i will die for that manicure!!!
Gorgeous pics! Great tip, coming to London soon – will keep it in mind! Love the new blog lay out! XO Rebecca

Heyyy Ms. Inglis, nice post as always, love the food that makes me drool and simple laidback outfit you wore. Regarding your header, I have to say… I love it! The previous one does not really “represent” you, an this dynamic simpler one will certainly do. And that burgundy jeans will do too *wink.
Jenny, I love the header! I noticed that in the lower left-hand corner yesterday and thought, hmm! That’s new, and I like it! And now it’s big and at the top of the page. Loving the changes!
xx
As soon as I clicked on, I thought how much I loved the header, its great! Boundary St rings a bell, I must have seen it when I used to work up there, years ago, the food looks scrummy, so glad its time for dinner!
i love your pictures!

Your pictures always make me excited about the UK. I will probably move to London in a few years time and your pictures make me happy.
Great pants babe. Nearly bought them in black, but went with ‘Jamie’s’ instead. That colour is perfect for autumn
xx
Hey Jen,
Love the new design, think it looks very stylish but still simple and not over fussy. Very much a fan! Great pics too, I am literally drooling at the Albion food snaps! xxxx hope you’re well
OMG! I GOT SO EXCITED WHEN I SAW ALL THESE CHANGES! I think they’re wonderful. Like a refreshing new era! I like the little gallery slider bit at the top on the home page – looks very sophisticated!
