REVELATION 21:4 – AND HE WILL WIPE AWAY EVERY TEAR FROM THEIR EYES…
I’ve always thought that honesty is the best policy… so let’s just get right down to it. A few weeks ago I had a bit of a nervous break down. It isn’t something I had planned to talk about on this blog. This is supposed to be a happy place. But the truth is life isn’t always happy. Sometimes things are hard.
Basically I wasn’t eating or sleeping properly and I had worn myself down by working too hard.
It can happen to anyone. One of the main reasons I’m even mentioning it here is that I know too many people who also work themselves too hard. When you have a lot going on, often your own personal health is the thing you pay the least attention to. The reality is though that we all need to take care of ourselves. I’m saying this as a reminder to myself and also to anyone that might be reading – make sure you take it easy.
Wishing you a wonderful start to the week. xx
p.s. wearing: St Louis baseball hat, Junkfood NFL T-shirt (stolen from Fred), Aubin & Wills shorts, Converse and Style Crusader x Topshop canvas bag.

YOUR SITE IS BACK TO NORMAL! And on the very day I had a minor meltdown, book a train to Glasgow at 4am and cancel my trip to Paris. Fate?
You’re right, we DO need to take of ourselves ! I’m happy to see you back in shape, you look gorgeous, btw (and a little bit tanned ?) xx
Excellent call, Jenny – too many times I’ve run myself into the ground trying to juggle multiple things – marathon training, work, social life, sleep, all while trying to appear as though I’ve got it allllll under control. It can be exhausting and unhealthy! I have so been there – hugs to you, love! xx
Thank goodness you’re back! I had a nervous breakfast last year (will tell you when I see you), the experience was horrid I was mentally and psychically exhausted but managed to control my emotion, I went offline for 3 weeks to recover my health.
Health is number 1 Jen. Miss you. xxx
Arghhhhh. it’s **break down** NOT **breakfast**
So glad you’re on the mend; I think you’re very brave for talking about this and fingers crossed people in a similar metaphorical boat will take strength from your words.
You’re lucky you’ve got good friends and a good man to support you BUT you need to support yourself too!
Take care of yourself Jen

Glad you’re ok now! I always find that a good 3 hours of watching American comedy shows chills me right down with a nice cup of tea

*sending you virtual hug from Sydney* I understand what you went through. And thanks for reminding us to take care of ourselves. Often we get too busy we forget to have a break. I’m glad you’re feeling better, and hey everybody loves you so we’re all here to to listen to rants at all times!
Love you Jen.
Hugs and kisses dear
You’re absolutely right, and health is really the only thing you have and will ever need to propel anything through. Hang tough, go to sleep and eat cakes. Have a wunnnnderful time with Charlie, kiss kiss kiss
I think these days there’s more and more pressure to do everything and be everything to everyone, that it’s easy to forget to take care of yourself. Well done for talking about it – so many people hide behind it. I’m a little bit obsessed with “me time”. If I haven’t spent some time with me for a while I begin to feel a little stir crazy!
Love the outfit. Hang on, though, what’s this canvas bag: Style Crusader x Topshop??!!
xx
It was for a store launch in Japan. xx
Ah! Very cool!!

I often feel this way with my schedule! The first thing I let go, though, is my blog :-X

What you say is totally true.
As I say to my family : if you do not have health, you do not work and vice versa!
