Prada
Oh, Prada. You get me every time. Each season you’re unexpected and at first a bit bizarre but you mix things up and unleash new trends like nobody else. You managed to throw the predicted silhouette on its head with your 1920s style dropped waists and hip slung belts. Don’t even get me started on the curved heel of your boots… it’s Wonka, it’s trippy, and it’s so right.
Amelia Earhart seems to have made babies with Big Foot and I like it.

I love how you can never associate Prada with one thing in particular because EACH season brings something completely new. Miuccia, we salute you xxx
What will we do when there’s no more Miucca?
I have terrible news, brace yourself. I CAN’T COME to LFW. Mainly because I have no monies for the Eurostar, but also mainly mainly because I’m working for press at Jitrois and we have our own show to organise over PFW so I doubt I could time off. I’m trying not to think about it, especially as this would be my 4th season and I’ve come to feel so at home there and I will miss all the lovely gals including YOURSELF. Plus there’s no small matter of the fact that I just milk LFW content on my blog for 3 months after the event, which means this year I’m going to actually have to make up some of my own content. Dammit.
Hope you’re well babe, I’ve been very much enjoying all these cushty hotel pics!
Thanks for the lovely comments, my bbz! I only just found your blog a couple of hours ago and instantly followed you on twitter. love your blog, and this post is so inspiring! I’d love to go to LFW, although I plan to move down to London in November. Do you live there currently? Love x
I have a MAJOR issue with those clutches. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
ooh Prada! It makes me think about that movie “white chicks” with the Wayans blothers ! When someone tries to steel his bag and he says “it’s not just a bag, it’s a Prada!” haha loved it !
I loved the boots too!
Miuccia is the Michelangelo of our times and the runway is her Sistine Chapel ceiling of sorts for us to marvel at her creations every six months or so.
LOL, I’m loving what the nayanzi report is saying about Prada!
And you said it so well. Prada is bizarre at fist but you mix and match and customize her ideas to your own liking. I was just commenting on A Pair and a Spare’s snake print post. Love those Prada snake skin clutches!
xx

Prada never ceases to amaze me. I think I was a bigger fan of last year’s fall RTW, but these looks are, of course, all fabulous! I love the simple structure of the pieces and the funky buttons.
I am lusting after anything and everything from Prada too!! I want the Red Danillo tote soooo bad. When I suggested my boyfriend get me one for my birthday he laughed in my face. Sad sad times.
