HOT PINK LIGHTING BOLTS…
Janiver?! I said Je-nni-fer. Not Janiver.
You know what I always say, ‘you can never go wrong with a pair of massive lightning bolt earrings.’ I think the guy at Starbucks was distracted by my big bright earrings. Surely, that’s he only way he can justify thinking that my name was Janiver. What sort of name is that anyway? As you might know, I tend to dress pretty simple so I like being able to add a bit of pizazz (yes, pizazz) with bold accessories. I love these earrings because they are so grotesquely tacky. Sometimes tacky is good. Remember that chickens.
Wearing: Asos earrings, Calvin Klein jeans, Topshop top, Banana Republic bag, Madewell shoes and Coffee frappucino.
Janiver’s ok, but it’s just not as good as Jenny-fur. The earrings are reminding me of the cartoon style BAM/WHAM/BANG etc 3.1 Phillip Lim pieces. Thanks for giving me another shopping urge when I’m not allowed…

I do love those earrings though – I have some massive blue sparkly star ones that I think would complement the lightning bolts perrrfectly.
In Cantonese we pronounce Jennifer as Jan (silent n)-ny-far hehe.

The pink works great on your tanned skin and as for the earrings, they’re perfectly fine worn with basics and don’t look tacky this way at all.
Seems that I just missed all the sunshine that tanned you this much. Arrived in ZRH yesterday to see rain… And as for a blogging break, I hear ya! I don’t have a clue how I’m gonna keep my site updated with two kids in a tow for the next couple of weeks!
