GET YOUR NIKE ON…
Forget about sky high heels, this season at London Fashion Week the fashionable crowd were all sporting Nike trainers. I’m rubbish when it comes to heels. I’d much rather wear a pair of bright tennis shoes any day. The only problem is choosing which pair to go for. Nike has so many options and they are all customizable. You can choose the colour you want for every part of the shoe. With that much choice I’m left a bit clueless for what to pick. I do know one thing for sure though, this is a trend I can definitely get behind.
As spring comes I’m definitely getting behind the trainer trend. I love the bright Nike neon trainers but I’m not sure which colour to get either, so I’ll probably end up with something plainer!

I’d customise the Nike trainers in floral patterns, mis-match materials and colours.
Oh yea…I don’t think it’s that hard to pick this trend up =) This is just great for crazy-busy days.

I’m a heels kinda gal, but after buying some Nike Blazers a couple months ago (and then another pair a month after that…) I’ve been completely converted. On the hunt for the perfect Air Max 90s now!

unbelievable! 2 years ago, i injured my knee and had to forgo heels for my lightweight nikes. i was constantly walking around in fitted jeans with my sneakers and i got so much crap from my friends about how i looked like on of those women that walk to work in nylons & a skirt suit in sneakers (they change into heels when they got to work). you bet your bottom, i am 100% behind this look and if any one of my friends tries to copy it, hah, the rest will be history…

I love these, although they are a little bright for me I think, not sure whether I would be able to pull this style off but I’d give it a try. I think its great when you can look great in trainers like this and another day look great in a pair of sexy stilettos!

I think the colours and customisation is what has made these trainers so fashionable! So far I’m happy with my Veja sneakers (which to me was a big step considering that I bought my first pair of Converse at 25…), but I wouldn’t mind some bright colours at my feet!
I’ve been thinking about buying some Nikes now that I love the gym… When I first started I got some New Balance, thinking fashion over function, but they’re not really cutting it now that I’m doing longer and longer runs etc. I really liked the Nike x Jun Takahashi collaboration – but there are just so many variations I’m finding it really hard to commit to buying a pair!
pretty smart option, i hate heels as well, so trainers are my friends. im so happy when i can see that ‘fashion’ can be ‘comfy’.

big fan of sports trainers, Nike do some proper good styles. I have some navy, orange and green Freerun +3. Just stay away from those trendy Blazers
