I love Chagall. Whimsical is the perfect way to describe his work. I went to l’Opera in Paris and the ceiling he painted in there is just magnificent — so many bright, beautiful colors!

This makes me think of the Chagall painting – “La Mariée” – featured in the movie Notting Hill. And Julia Roberts says: “happiness isn’t happiness without a violin playing goat”. Awww. Lovely to see that you are doing fun cultural artsy stuff in Zurich! xxx

I once tried to make a dress that was partly inspiredd by this painting!It didn’t really work out though….
