CURRENTLY OBSESSED WITH RED…
I’m usually really not into red. I think it’s a bit brash and doesn’t really suit me. Lately though I’ve taken a liking to it. Next to pale skin it brings a burst of colour that makes winter skin feel a bit more lively. I’m currently obsessed with this YSL rouge volupte lipstick. Whack it on with even the dullest of outfits and suddenly everything feels a bit more fabulous. I’ve also pulled out this old buffalo checked red flannel shirt from the bottom of my wardrobe – it’s perfect for chilly days.

Not so long ago I was wondering when red would ever come back in because it felt so old and drab compared to the bright neons and soft neutrals. And then late this fall… boom. I suddenly love red. It’s going to be a big color in my AW 2013 collection.
My fave red lipstick these days is Raisin Rage by Revlon, though it doesn’t stay put very well.
I’m with you there. I stay well clear of red but even I have to admit that it looks pretty darn flattering against my vampire-ish white skin. I’m a little obsessed with red flannel shirts like yours. They’re comfy and well, just as well they’re in vogue at the moment.

I’ve never put on an YSL lipstick, since I love the MAC ones. But that rouge would be really cute and the best response to the winter transition
I love the red on you. I don’t think I’m brave enough for red. I always think I’ll give it a go in the summer when I have a bit of a tan and then chicken out and then I’m never sure when I’m pale in winter. But on you, it looks great. Also love the flannel shirt! xx
