currently glued to…
My mom once told my then-boyfriend-now-husband, ‘when she falls for you, she’ll fall hard.’ This was in the midst of a mini-crisis when I, according to her, ‘loved him less than he loved me’. Girls can be fickle and uncertain creatures at times. She was right though and, as it turns out, my all or nothing personality applies to what I wear too. When I fall for an item I fall hard and wear it non-stop. Currently I can’t pull my hands and feet away from the following items (as pictured above): Jigsaw chelsea boots, J.Crew fingerless cashmere gloves, Jigsaw camel skirt with exposed side zip and Quiksilver evolution jacket. These are the items that have seen me through the recent drop in temperature. What are you currently glued to? Please tell me I’m not the only one with this weird disorder.

No, you’re not the only one glued to certain items! I seem to go everywhere in my All Saints combat boots. I pair them with everything, and when I’m not in those, I’m in my leather/canvas All Saints brogues. You get the idea
I am growing quite fond of a vintage cape I bought as well – that one I wore to lunch that time!

Nope, I do the exact same thing (including with my boyfriend) and wear favourite things so often people must wonder if I do laundry! Love the cashmere gloves.

No I’m not really glued to anything at present but as it gets colder it will be the same as every other winter – Uggs!

You have such a gift, Jen: you can tell a story so simply – it’s like minimalism – and with such depth of feeling. Your mom sounds so cool and wise.
You are so not alone with this disorder: I am always glued to something and basically don’t get unstuck until I’m glued to the next thing. Case in point, those black American Apparel leggings last winter. Right now it’s a black buttonless long weird AA cardigan at home – wearing it now – and on the street, this week it’s those beige H&M leggings.. also was really glued to a pair of really soft black knee socks to the point where I’d freeze rather than switch to tights. I LOVE that camel skirt so much, and the Chelsea boots.. when you described the skirt I immediately pictured it with a black turtle neck and tights, and that’s just how Jigsaw styled it, but I’d rather see it with the Chelsea boots. I bet all four items pictured in this post look great together – on you.
Jigsaw really is going in an amazing direction these days!

I tried to find the pictures of the dress on your blog because I remembered you went to the press day but couldn’t find them, I was invited but felt too old for the brand, I thik I left a comment at the time saying that! It is better in real life isn’t it, truly gorgeous. I haven’t been blogging much or commenting due to hospital visiting for over three weeks now but am trying to catch up with everyone and get back to it, as I have missed you all so much and feel really out of touch. x
those boots are brilliant. i can imagine them looking great with all your get-up. some how feel they look better on girls than boys right now. i have some but they’re quite pointy and don’t look right at all these days. do have some rounder toed ones but they don’t really suit my style at the mo.
hmmm well i have some blue chinos i got from tkmaxx which just seem to be my go-to pair and a thin grey jersey jumper from h&m. shoes wise i’m all about beige converse, got them a couple of weeks back. muji rules, you should do a post!

At the moment I’m glued into my parka, it’s been snowing for the last two days, so, I guess I’ll stay glued in for some time more
Would have to be my leather jacket I have pretty much worn it every day since I got it, now its getting colder I will wear a gilet over it. I do like my parker but its more of a summer one I would like an upgrade to one with a huge fake fur collar!

I am stuck like glue to my missoni necklace, I wear it with practically every outfit. with clothes my newest thing tends to be what I wear over and over again, until the next new item. the best is when I am going through the drawers and discover something I haven’t seen in a while.
The boots are gorgeous! I do that with music too – I get addicted to one album and listen to it over and over and over again until I can’t deal with it anymore and then I repeat the process on the next album. I have about 8 pieces in my wardrobe that are all I’m wearing, oh dear…
We are just alike! I am fickle until I am not and then I am totally totally loyal to what ever it is — friend, boyfriend, that yoghurt I always eat in the morning and certain items of clothing!

but believe me, you’re not the only one with this disorder (haha!!). am currently totally glued to my zipped COS coat. its so simple yet amaziiiiing 
im glued to hooker heels and velvet
but mainly dark blood red lipstick.
its defineatley the weather.

I’m so the same with clothing! Every time I buy something new, I vow to wear it sparingly and not bore everyone by wearing the same thing every time I see them, but it never quite works out that way!
I’m the same – anything new that I love gets worn to death and nothing else gets a look-in. Currently it’s my Clarks wedge heeled desert boots – sooooooo comfy. xx
