Just a little New York snapshot. Everything was exactly like I expected – it felt strangely familiar. We wandered around the tourist spots, hung out in the West Village, ate cupcakes, soaked in the style, and tried to avoid passing out from the heat. Ended the day in Brooklyn looking out over the Manhattan skyline. Perfect.

New York looks so much better in summer time! I went in winter and though it was still sunny, it didn’t look as glorious as it does in your pictures!

Wow, everything looks so exciting. I felt nostalgic when I went to America in January, and I’m not from there! There must be something sentimental in the water
I’ve always wondered how it would feel, if I moved overseas, and then came back to Sydney. We’ll find out in the future!

What a great post! Feel like I’m there. It’s weird, it feels like I’m on the North Fork and could just take the Hampton Jitney into town and hang out.. except you’ve already left (hopefully: did Earl let you after all?)
The brief times we were in NY this summer it was too hot, too. I can’t believe that was ever a problem. It’s like about to storm here.

Oh, your images and description make me want to pack my suitcase again and come on over. I’ve never been to NY but there might be a trip coming up in October, though there might be a risk I would love it so much and never return to England. Enjoy your time left, London is chilly! xx
