ASOS AFRICA…
I love this season’s Asos Africa collection. The bold prints, grey marled tops and slouchy shapes are straight up my street. The black and white houndstooth outfit is my absolute favourite. I love the peplum shaped jacket and the flared out shorts.
The collection has definitely got me craving a bit of an Asos shopping spree.

I’m confused, is this collection produced in Africa/fairtrade/something similar, or do they just call it ASOS Africa because of the prints? I kind of hate it when things are just described as being ethnic…

This is such a great idea. I think it’s a really innovative thing to do, and I think with a company like ASOS leading the way, perhaps other retailers can do the same sort of thing to raise money for such a good cause.

Also, I think the collection looks awesome. My favourite would be the middle one, the combination of the grey with the print is quite unusual.

Ooh, these are great! Such rich colors and textures. Don’t even mention the words “shopping spree” to me right now… the months of November and December justify things way too much and I cannot be trusted with a credit card at the moment…

Wow, nice! The black and white is amazing!
Same!! the houndstooth one is my fave! I think it’s the proportion of the flare that also repeats in the shorts that gives it that “wow” factor, almost a double peplum if you may… Plus the leather cap adds a cool masculine touch which balances out the feminine frills on the bottom. Woah I just got so technical there lol. Hope all’s well with you Jen!
Btw, I recently did an outfit post in an underground garage; I’d be featuring crochet shorts and a floral blazer, but I made it sporty, you’ve gotta’ check it out! I promise it’s trendy not tranny lol.
