A paisley pajama party
Would you judge me if I said I was craving a wardrobe filled entirely with ss12 Topman?
I loved the mixture of prints and textures (see photo 1). There were silky old school pajamas, micro paisley shorts and double breasted suits with cropped trousers. Then came the bright patent brogues, slubby 70s style knits and brash headache-inducing prints. Did I mention there were freaking awesome clutches and printed backpacks? Yah, it was good. I liked it, a lot. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t expect to see the men of England sporting these looks head-to-toe anytime soon. But if even a bit of this eccentric attitude works its way into their lives come spring, we’ll all be better for it.

I absolutely LOVE that first look! And then as I scrolled down I couldn’t help it, I literally laughed out loud, not because it’s ridiculous, but I just was so surprised by the riot of colors and textures and boldness of it all. Love when fashion steps outside the box like that and surprises us, and then surprises us even more when we realize that’s exactly what we want!
Also, yes, a closet full of unworn stuff was part of my realization. I just did a major closet purge and now it looks like a beautiful inviting space for me to create myself every morning, just as it should be. And yeah, the new a wang stuff totally helps

I can’t wait for my Little Man to get a bit older so that I can dress him up in Topman! These are great pictures and I do like the looks, you will have to buy some bits for your hubby!
What a pretty colourful collection, I do love the rucksack and customised man clutch
I knew there would be a good reason for this… and there is! I want to be involved in the paisley pajama party too!
It would be mine
Do they have a 38 in men’s shoes? I want those orange loafers! xx
I have to admit I do like it when boys are adventurous enough to wear paisley print and daring colours. I don’t expect to see many of these looks in real life, but hey those suits in the second and fourth pictures look so good! And with a little bit of colour and pattern peeking, they’re definitely the winning looks!
Love,
Nora
Sometimes i covet mens’ collections more than womens! Especially Bottega Veneta!
oh – inspiring! absolutely love!
impressive work from the topman team.
Only if you don’t judge me if I said I was craving a room filled with the Topshop menswear models! I have to admit, I’m not in love with the prints, but the tailoring of those suits is to die for — I’d snap up a Topman suit for myself in a second. And the loafers! Men need to wear more loafers.
WOW! I’m very impressed this collection could elevate Topman to Topshop status. Topman is hugely under-rated judging by this collection XO
These photos are amazing given where we were standing! I need the details of your zoom lens stat…xx
Wowza didn’t expect this to be Topman, makes you feel like you’ve been missing out not checking out upstairs at the Oxford St branch. And coolest shooting angle woman, curious about the seating/viewing arrnagement!
